John started his career in 1994 as a registered investment adviser. John has worked at a few of the largest firms on Wall Street, including Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and UBS Paine Webber. John attained the position of Vice President Investments at UBS Paine Webber, with over $300 million under management. John’s background in finance is a key component when analyzing and negotiating on behalf of the business interests of the doctors he represents. Prior to founding Phelps & Frias Commercial Realty, John worked at the two largest independent commercial real estate firms in Texas, at The Weitzman Group in 2001, followed by Henry S. Miller Commercial Realty.

Alexander Frias is a fluent Spanish speaker and a native of Houston, Texas with a MBA and BBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He is Senior Vice President of Development at Phelps & Frias Commercial Realty, a Texas licensed commercial real estate brokerage firm. Alexander has several years of real estate experience specializing in medical representation working with tenants, buyers, and medical transitions. Focusing on purchase/ lease negotiations, property acquisitions, and new construction/ground-up projects. Alexander uses his experience and background in the Texas market to identify and analyze locations, mitigate risk, and negotiate the best possible terms for his clients success. When not working you will find him running, golfing or on the tennis court.

Mike Palmer is a Sr Vice President at Phelps & Frias Commercial Realty. Mike has worked in real estate, including both tenant and landlord representation, as well as property management since 1997. Mike’s background, with a finance degree from the University of Texas, is a key component when analyzing and negotiating on behalf of the business interests of the doctors he represents.
